We all dug a hole and buried 2020 and woke up with tremendous relief to 2021. the drama of 2020 rocked our world and ripped it from its' seems. as resilient as we are we survived. In the heat of a Global pandemic we forgot our neighbours, allowed selfishness to take root and our earth cried out for mercy. With struggles yet ahead, we are slowly replacing reactions with actions of love kindness and consideration .At your next yoga practice, when your masked instructor take you through a class of hope gratitude and self realization, remember to offer your class for those less fortunate. |

I am always inspired by nature;here on the West Coast we can have hail snow rain and sun all in one day. Much like our day, it is seldom we can predict how it will be. I always craft my classes to reflect our day, our soulful day filled with emotions we sometimes ignore. Make your practice full of joy, settle into the uncertainty of a new challenge forge ahead with determination and end on the proudest note ever fulfillment. Press pause and rewind the next day since we can only get better with practice. |

There is a certain courage it takes to attend your first Yoga class. A certain courage to refrain from measuring yourself up against the other practitioners. A certain courage to look within yourself as you practice. A certain courage to let you efforts be enough. Each and every time you practice remember every foot step, every hand print has purpose. Allow this purpose no matter how small to be the only important thing you achieve on your mat today.

I am always asked where my inspiration comes from. Nature is an immediate source. I am in embrace something inspired by the things and creatures around, which herald changes. In this case spring. The reason to grow, aspire to change and the courage to embark on something new and challenging. Sounds exciting? That is the message I try to bring to each of my classes. Have your own inspiration? bring it to class.

The Story of vriksasana is like most stories entertaining, but this one leaves you with the ability to embrace nature, trust yourself, be firm, calm and know that once you envision something it then becomes a greater possibility. #Friday mornings@9:15 for more story telling.
